I heard before they changed the file format, it was like 100GB+. You do realize it's the biggest voice acting project yet, right? It's mainly the audio files for all the voices.

Also, have fun paying $70 every six months. They overextended themselves with the whole massive voice project stuff and that's how they're making up the difference for all the voice actors.

I have been downloading killing floor for 5 hours, I know dat feel.

Anyone who has ever legally torrented a file knows the feeling of long downloads.

Yep. Just saying, they were a bit too ambitious with this idea. You want to make a mark, but the cost of it is a bit steep for your audience. Not like there won't be people willing to pay it, surely there will be, but casual players would definitely be put off. It is steep for an MMO, after all.

I don't see how it's ambitious at all. Bioware's last 3 or 4 games have all been fully voice acted.

However, this voice acting project was the largest one to date. That was their hook, at least in the past.
