That's weird, I was just taught that red, yellow, and blue are primary colors.
when? in first grade?
they often teach about the pigments instead because that's the colors used for mixing paints and such
I don't know why, more of their students will need to be familiar with RGB than MYC
but w/e

Yep. Then they decided to add it to the 9th grade curriculum for some stupid reason, and I learned about it again a few weeks ago.

I actually specifically remember in second grade my teacher's door had two venn diagrams on it labeled as pimary colors and primary pigments
with the respective venn diagrams

when? in first grade?
Im guessing your still in 1st grade ..
Red, yellow and Blue are the primary colours ,
Green , Purple , orange etc. are secondary colours

Green can be made mixing yellow and blue .. therefore it is not a primary colour
Red , Yellow and Blue other hand can not be made by mixing colours therefore they are Primary.

never said anything about secondary colors, handicap
and yellow is made by mixing green and red, not whatever you said

top things i hate:
1. no swag fools like op

You're lucky. I just happened to come across it while browsing in a science book one day. I was pissed no one told me.

If you mix red and green paint .. You will get yellow?
Stop using your RGB head and use your 5 year old Head
Yellow is not a secondary colour
If you cross breed a Red Flower and a Green flower
You get a Red flower since the colour density of Red is greater
If you mix Green and red paint you get a chocolate brown colour
Iv been doing physics for the last 4 years .. and i know  the colour spectrum says differant
.. this still doesnt make Green a primary colour , nor does it say you can make yellow
As in a rainbow:

Green is between the Yellow spectrum of light and the Blue spectrum of light.
both colours mix to make yellow.

Same Applys to Red and Green dye :P
i was just using that as an example
Reading it now .. i see how strange it is.

It doesn't apply to plants at all. The color of plants is determined by their DNA. Green could be a dominant trait, or red could be a dominant trait. Or it could be way more complex.

I dont know anything about plants
im just saying the colour density of red is greater than green :3

What the hell is colour density?
