If they'd stopped at master chief I'd be ok with it.
Like where he could come in, save Louis, then gtfo, sort of as a joke. Then they would continue on and be saved.
Nobody would be able to complain about that part because if it wasn't there Francis could have just looked back, shot the witch, saved Francis, then the video could be exactly the same. Adding one silly scene is hardly plot-changing.

I laughed when he came in but then they drew out the joke.

just because it doesnt try to be serious doesnt mean it cant be stuffty

the only thing that really stuck out was the out of place shininess of the tank

Yeah, it was a good video, up until that part. Could've been a good idea at that time, but it just seems so stupid, the fact that you'd put random characters from random genres of video games in a video about something completely different.
Sort of like, if the Power Rangers were in a Spiderman movie.
They did a good job on the video, but meh, I still don't see why they'd do that to something so glorious and amazing (make it less glorious).

costumes were just ugly, they should have made the gears costumes uglier or the others better. bad muzzle flashs as well

Yea but you're criticizing the forget out of a silly indie movie. It's not like they're a huge corporate business with a stuff butt forget ton of money and 3 years to produce a brilliant movie. What they made out of their resources was an accomplishment and you should look at it for that.
