So I uploaded a public domain TV show clip of The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy on my youtube account. Then out of nowhere this guy from Millennium Entertainment Inc files a copyright complaint.

He claims he owns the right to a clip of a TV show owned by Cartoon Network. This stuff is ridiculous.

Whether he owns it or not, you don't and are still infringing copyright stuff.

If it's 35 seconds or less, it is completely legal to post.

Television is not public domain. You pay for Television service.

Most copyright claims I've seen only watch 2 seconds and assume its all stolen.

Oh and the video even still has the Cartoon Network logo right on the loving bottom right corner.

How can this company claim they own this video if there is the CN logo right there!
