Author Topic: Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword problem  (Read 1171 times)

I just got Legend of Zelda Skyward sword and it came with the golden wii motion plus remote. Although I noticed when I played the game everywhere it was pixel-ated as stuff. This wasn't my TV that was the issue since I could run Need For Speed: The Run with no pixels that I could see from 10 feet away. Do other people experience this? If not I am going to return this purchase which was $75.99 :|

The tv is a 62 inch plasma screen tv with no pixelated problems on any other games or TV in general.

My copy runs no problem, though I'm running it on a horrible TV so that could be hiding a problem.

the game runs fine but it is extremely pixelated.

I just got this too but I don't have a Wii Plus remote

I meant I didn't have any pixelation problem, other than what the TV itself provides.

Try using it on a smaller TV if you have one.
See if the problem persists.

I have a broken foot and I can't put any weight on it without searing pain, thus there is a .02% chance I would move my Wii to my parents room and try to play it in there. (The televisions in the living room and my parents room are the same size just one is way older and one is 3 years old). Otherwise we have no other tv's I could use without squinting to death on a 4 inch tv screen.

Well, my theory is that your TV is a tad large, because Wii's aren't very fond of Anti-Aliasing.

It wasn't pixelated on Twilight Princess on this tv. So I think its the game.

Wii doesn't run HD. If other games look normal and skyward sword doesn't its the games problem.

So I should take it back to the store and get a refund? Or would this be something just wrong with my game discs and that I could get an exchange for better ones?

Nothing is wrong with the game.
It just isn't optimized for an HD television, so everything is stretched out to fit the aspect ratio.
Plus, Wii's don't have AA on most games, so it looks extremely pixelated.

So is there any way to fix it? Or is it something I have to stick with...?

Unless you're into staring at old 4" TV's, yeah.

Well stuff, I was hoping I could return it and have it fixed. Also I don't like how link is so asian looking.
