What, did you want your character driving a a car, dive off a ramp into a pool of acid only to jump off at the precise moment and have an assassin launch a nuclear warhead at you only to have it miss, you land and backflip into the vault, and as it's closing you flip the assassin the bird and the vault closes only to have the warhead go off and you then have steamy love with a hot nurse in the shower?

I've never played Borderlands but I can say the gameplay looks fun enough that the story would only bug me a little. :D
