Author Topic: Having trouble purchasing merchandise on Steam. (Read 1624 times)

I recently got 50 dollars and I've been attempting to buy the Valve Complete Pack. Everything was fine, until I clicked purchase. After a couple seconds, a message appeared.

Thinking it was a one-time error, I tried once again, getting the same message. I tried with a credit card, and a debit card, as well as a Visa gift card; both the debit and Visa cards have sufficient funds for me to purchase what I want.

That was about 6 hours ago. I once again tried just a few minutes ago, to no avail.

Do you guys suggest I wait until about midnight to early dawn to make my purchases because the servers are overloaded?

It's so scary trying to buy something when steam is having problems

Don't worry though, if money goes through you'll get the games, if it doesn't you won't.

What I'm worried about is if I'm attempting to buy the pack, and Steam takes the funds but doesn't give me the games.

Then you contact them and they compare your recent, incorrect transaction with the games on your account and see they done goofed

Anyway, I tried buying the games last night around midnight and I still couldn't purchase them. I have no idea what to wait for, and how long to wait for.

Is the Visa gift card registered? That's what I had to do with mine to make it work.
