Author Topic: Better first person bobbing?  (Read 1415 times)

You see how your player moves and your arm with an item moves up and down and it doesn't look good in my opinion. Is it possible that anyone can make a more realistic bobbing?

Example: The way you move in minecraft first person view, battlefield 3's arm movement, Mirror's edge like first person view.

Support.

But it should be a playertype

Hey buddy, we're plastic minifigs.  Asking for realistic 1st person bobbing makes as much sense as Torque with good water physics.

It is possible. You dont even know the game 100%. I do because i played it for 4 years. or accually 5 years now.

Its just takes a script to make you move like bobbing.

I played the game for 3 years, and learned how to script weapons and a few other things.

My point is that as lego characters, the current low quality bobbing we have now is more original to a lego character.

The "bobbing" you are talking about (item in first person moving vertically, attached objects moving vertically) is entirely engine-side and cannot be modified. Even though a playertype with alternate animations could be done, the Custom Animations Project still hasn't reached a functional point.
