The advanced Placement tool or APT would allow angled bricks and such

i really want to see it made! it would be like Cframe but for Blockland...!

What do you mean, x and y axis rotation or something?

Bricks can only rotate along the z axis.
And the grid would have to be altered for angled bricks to work.

this! but it would also go on the z axis too...

well it would be great to be created! actully Badspot should make this default!

I would find something like this pretty annoying, if I'm understanding what you're saying.

So, basically, you want some sort of tool, or an alteration to the brick placer to allow for you to make ramps with a plate?
Sounds like a massive pain in the arse.

It is.
Badspot would have to rewrite the brick system for something like this to happen.

Pretty sure he just wants 90 degree rotation for bricks. Which I would actually love to be honest, because then you wouldn't have to have so many custom bricks.

You can't move bricks, that's why any mod that has "moved" bricks just deletes and remakes them in places. They are all locked to a grid, which prevents overlapping and crap.  He would have to do engine rewrites to make this possible, and how it'd work is another question entirely.

It is possible with .dts versions of bricks. But, again, why the forget would you need it?
This is not Roblox. You think with bricks more often.

One thing I'd actually like to see is free ground-level baseplate rotation on certain maps.

For example, on Slate maps the bottom-most baseplate wouldn't snap to the Grid, but any bricks placed on that baseplate would snap to the baseplate's local Grid.

However, I'm not going to fool myself about this ever happening.

well i need it for something im working on which i need Broken piping angled bricks are required to make this...

Good luck arranging a formal meeting with Badspot to discuss the details of this in the hopes it might be included in a distant update.
