Alright fine, but you better give me some feedback.
I tried packaging it, and it gave me an error. Working on other stuff is more important, so you'll have to wait until I put out the next version.

Also, I decided to make a twitter for some reason. I'll probably put more frequent updates on there than what I post on the site and here.

Unreal Engine 4 revealed some screenshots. Relevant because if you didn't know, I'm using UDK, which is the free version of it.

Nothing to report except that I'm pretty close to finishing basic climbing. All I need is to fix one angle, make it so you can climb up ledges, and make climbing work on interp actors.

I got bored of working on climbing the other day, so I started working on earth magic. You can now pull walls/platforms out of the ground/walls, but it still needs a lot of work. Also, here's a newer version of the demo with more complete climbing and the magic. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/11068983/UDKInstall-ARM.exe

Bump. I was in Utah all weekend, so nothing got done, but now I can start again.

Also, 5 posts in a row. C'mon.

what's in the second demo?

and do people actually wear clothes by default?

And no. You can put clothes on with the commands I used in the video, but he doesn't spawn with any on.
Here's a list of the clothing commands so far:
Code: [Select]
setClothes Torso TestShirt
setClothes Legs TestPants1
setClothes Legs TestPants2
setClothes Head TestHat
setClothes Torso PoliceShirt
setClothes Feet TestShoes
Press ` to open the console.

Bump. Just got back from a 7 or so day long trip to Illinois. I think I will be making a new video soon.

Bump again. I thought I would be able to work on the game a lot more since summer started, but it turns out I've been even more busy than when I was in school. Sorry for so little progress, but I just don't have much time right now. I'll still try to work whenever I can.

awesome
Too bad I still don't have a GPU to play it with.
