I don't think Obama is that good of a president, but each election as far back as I remember the Republican candidates have been making Christianity a bigger point of their platform. I guess it's to appeal to the large number of religious elderly and baby boom voters. The problem is that religion has been becoming less important with each new generation of people. Once all the elderly have been long dead and the Republicans try to pander to whatever the largest group of voters is they're going to have this hanging over their heads. There's also the problem that they like to pretend the growing population of Hispanic voters doesn't exist or when they do acknowledge them it's to tell them to go back to Mexico.

I'll probably vote for obama next year. Don't think any of the possible republican nominees have what I want, so I'll settle for Obama even though he's not ideal.

As president I will influence congress to lower education standards and make schools teach kids important skills, rather than to bubble in a,b,c,d on a scantron. I would like to increase the strength of Boarder patrol as well to take measures to cut illegal immagration. English will become the only and official langauge of the US. All illegals will be required to register as a citizen by taking a basic english and math test. Once they become a citizen they will have to pay taxes like every other hardworking American. Also there will be a reduction on taxes for lower and middle class. A slight increase on taxes for higher class citizens.

Edit: I would also like to give the Native Americans more land back.

Think about it this way.

Since 2000 we have QUADRUPLED border patrol protection. Yet, to no avail. The US needs to focus time, money, and effort on domestic affairs that we have control over(i.e. poverty). The US takes great pride in sticking our nose in inter-domestic affairs. Whereas I believe we will have a greater impact dealing with crime, poverty, and things like that on the homefront.

They manipulate crises like the economic situation to gain control over many new factors. For instance, it's been proposed that the United States of America, Canada, and Mexico all use a common currency. Eventually this would be accepted, and would be ditched later for a North-South currency, and then an Ameri-European currency, until the world's economy was under control.

Both of the parties support pro-government federalist beliefs. In the right wing, this is called Fascism, and in the left wing, this is called Communism.

The Republic is the best government type, but is not supported by either of the starfish corrupted parties.

Limiting government control is what we have to do at this point. It's exactly what Ron Paul's been preaching about his entire campaign.
