Author Topic: YorkTown95's CityRPG Server v2. (Will consider re-opening this)  (Read 109354 times)

Jail isn't supposed to be fun.

I know. But something to pass the time. I've seen a lot of people join, get arrested, and disconnect and never come back.

Mining passes the time and you get money from it.

The CityRPG has been updated, Please redownload the CRP Client v4 If you have the old version (CRP Client v3). Otherwise using a outdated client makes you lose the ability to see the help functions and the terminal communications.

Now I can begin testing again.

Finally got onDay and onNight events working.
Instead of having every brick with the event turn on their lights at the exact same time in the laggiest way possible I made a different approach.
Me and York evented the street lights to randomly turn on between 7PM and 8PM for more of a smoother transition.

The city so far looking good, I'll have pictures of it soon, or you can take a look at the OP of the current preview.

I have a great idea for the prison.

Battles to the death. Winner gets a shortened sentence, loser gets an extended stay. You could even set up a betting system, and let not-convicts fight.

Thats like the hunger games, except the extended stay is death, I don't see why turning the prison into a battling arena, but I like the idea but it doesn't fill well apparently.

It wouldn't be entirely an arena, you can choose if you want to mine or go to the arena.

Bio: I've participated on many CityRPGs and helped quite a lot. For example, on Surburb's CityRPG, I made various builds which helped the community in various ways, from arms dealing, to providing condos for others. I have also helped with different CityRPG builds and am a long-time player on this server. When I saw that Yorktown95's CityRPG was reopening, I nearly cried with joy. I would love to be a part of the beta-testing to help find bugs which can be fixed to make the server a smoother, better place. I am also very skilled with events, especially Variable Conditional Events.

Note; Ingame name changes a lot.

Yeah, and the fact you disobeyed my city build rules multiple times.  Oh let me think of some that you caused.  Bought 4 large lot's, all were spammy, they got wanded.  We were planning interstate expansion project, so wait, this is where your little hamster brain said "Oh, I will place a large lot at the end of the road that is obviously going to be added onto."  You were not a "model" player on my city rpg approximately 50% of the time you were on.  Btw, half the time your lot's were abandoned and had many reasons to be wanded for instance that mall you built was a white windowless box that people abused your trust to build in and built spammy 1x1 shop's that got out of hand that you never did a single thing to fix so the administration team including myself had to step in and destroy the entire lot space.

Accepted, however Surburb was posting on how you didn't help him much on his CityRPG, I'll have him keep an eye on you, anyways there is going to be a lot limit where it prevents people building a lot of builds, don't pull a Qazimoka if you get the reference..

Also, here is a picture of the CRP Client:

Its still in a work in progress, but I find it very useful, what do you all think?

EDIT: And this server is almost open to the beta, I'll send out an announcement soon.

Bio:  Boy, I have been on too many CityRP's to count. But what I can tell you from my experiences on them is that I play them for a very long time. Very long time. I usually stay until I reach the highest position in that society and then build large, awesome, public buildings and things of that sort as I don't usually make myself a house or anything. I thought it would be fun to Beta test your new system considering I have so much free time to play and therefore I would be able to find any bugs that may arise. I am mainly looking for something to do.
