Did you test it vs cutlass or shovel?
Also, it shouldn't be working for ranged unless you already fixed that.
didn't test. i'm pretty sure ranged works. disconnection thing seems to work somewhat now, i can keep the player on disconnect and they don't disappear till 20 seconds after they hit leave.
At the risk of sounding to City RP like here.. what about a third faction which is civilians who will build/farm/whatever and give a goal for pirates to plunder and government to protect.. though it seems most pirates can do this and not take part in any crimes really so probably not the best idea.
government without joining marines is what this is. if you play as government, you are given the option of joining the marines.
