i basically need it to fill the ocean gap. the 64x height allows me to add plenty of room for ships, and the general size will reduce brickcount alot. The 64x64x8 will be the baseplate under the ocean and islands. So one huge stretch of water is only about 100 bricks.

Well, pretty sure that that blb should work.

  • 64x64x8 cube
That's easy(except the icon).
Code: (.blb file) [Select]
64 64 24
BRICK
Code: (brick file) [Select]
datablock fxDTSBrickData (brick64x64x8CubeData)
{
   BrickFile = "file/path.blb";
   Category = "Baseplates";
   SubCategory = "Cubes";
   uiName = "64x64x8 Cube";
iconName = "file/path";
};

I like the part where your code overwrites the 64x cube.

It's just an example of how easy it is.

So easy that you didn't do it right.

This won't end up like CityRPG will it?

Pirates have nothing to do with cities, you silly goose.

Don't they raid cities that are situated along the coast? :P

Well can you call it something other than Pirate RPG? Like can you drop the RPG part and name it like pirate life or something. It wont make much of a difference but something other than RPG would be nice.

I haven't seen an RPG yet that doesn't plaster <name of author> RPG or <theme> RPG as the title.

I was hoping to be the first but any RPG I'll be making will be taking a while. I'm not rushing any stuffty code or hosting beta before the basic features are even present.

But if its called something like "Pirate Wars" or "Pirate Adventures" no ones knows what it is. But CityRPG you know "hey thats a roleplaying game about city life" or "stuffmonday's laser weaponpack" you know "hey thats a laser weapon pack by stuffmonday".

Call the server PirateLand <RPG>

problem solved people now know it's called PirateLand, AND that it's an RPG.
