Why don't we have soft body vehicle physics. It would be so epic for demolition derbies and look mega cool while smashing through houses as they explode.

This probably isnt possible, but I  just thought I'd put it out there.

Even if only the body deforms. I don't care if the wheels can't get punctured or bent.

I WANT MAI SOFT BODY FESEECS

Please.  :cookieMonster:

It's impossible. Search next time.

this is an old version of an old engine

pretty sure impossible even with heavy engine change

Oops. Maybe instead for every 5% damage a light on your car breaks and every 10% a bumper/door falls off.

My bad.

Yeah, that'd be possible but it'd be kinda silly.

you'd have to change the datablock and re-mount everyone

and atop that you'd need a lot of datablocks

You could do it like the Fordor Sudan and make the different parts hide with nodes.

You could also make it fire car part projectiles when it get's damaged enough.

Too heavy on the engine if you ask me.

This would be fun, but it would be ridiculously difficult and glitchy. If not impossible.

Everything is possiable, but mostly ends up glitching as hell. And i mean really really glitchy.

EDIT: Wtf did I just say there :u

first we need a better rigidbody system.
