"Ron Paul will actually leave abortion laws up to the states to decide."
there's a good reason not to vote for him
it's been proven that having laws in place that allow abortion reduces crime

letting states decide major stuff like that can sometimes result in them making the wrong choice
just look at arizona's immigration laws

Doesn't he believe in the merge of state and church?
If not then he's the one I am rooting for, as everything else I have heard about him is good.

To anyone concerned about being arrested without trial, read this reddit post.

Whole reason mexicans are coming over here is because we're giving them free health care and stuff

Indefinite detention without trial of ANYONE by the US government, citizen or not, is pretty loving expressly against what this country was founded upon. If this doesn't apply to citizens, it's only a matter of time until another bill changes that.
It's bullstuff, no matter how you slice it.

woops double-post

can't say i'm surprised, considering you're a ron paul supporter

how am I a tribal? I just stated the truth

listen to this everybody

it doesn't affect legal aliens or U.S. citizens, we're fine :L

it doesn't affect U.S. citizens

yes it does. in fact it very specifically refers to them as "US citizens"
a previous version of the bill didnt, and obama had it added before he would sign it.
he referred to the change as a "language edit"

Where does it say this?

or do you mean because anybody else that isn't a mexican/US Citizen could be a potential terrorist?

it's been proven that having laws in place that allow abortion reduces crime
if anything, you sound like the tribal here, how is it the more children are born, the more crime there is?

Section 1021 affirms the executive branch's authority
to detain persons covered by the 2001 Authorization for Use
of Military Force (AUMF) (Public Law 107-40; 50 U.S.C. 1541
note).
This section breaks no new ground and is unnecessary.
The authority it describes was included in the 2001 AUMF,
as recognized by the Supreme Court and confirmed through
lower court decisions since then. Two critical limitations
in section 1021 confirm that it solely codifies established
authorities. First, under section 1021(d), the bill
does not "limit or expand the authority of the President
or the scope of the Authorization for Use of Military
Force." Second, under section 1021(e), the bill may not
be construed to affect any "existing law or authorities
relating to the detention of United States citizens, lawful
resident aliens of the United States, or any other persons
who are captured or arrested in the United States."

According to this law, under suspicion of being a terrorist, they can arrest you, throw you in jail, no judge, no jury, you can be put in for however long they choose

meaning any cop, can claim that anybody they see on the street is a terrorist, arrest, and do whatever

and if I'm wrong, I still have a god damn problem here, considering it means you can still do the same stuff, as long as it isn't an illegal alien/US Citizen, you can claim anybody else be a terrorist, and again, arrest, no judge no jury etc, am I wrong?
