Wow, you are so right. I eat them.
And then my poop hurts. Microchips, apparently, dont digest well... Same with PCB.
Haha but the ITX board is soooooo cool :-D
Its like....
Column A:
ITX is very small... I like small!! Portsble would be very cool, LAN party monster as I am.
Portable computer, AGP graphics (And I have a BFG 6800 unlocked... mmmm)
Fastest processor
Fast RAM, low quantity (I'd prolly have only a GB right now) buit its DDR400
Column B:
Server board... Sweet
Dual P3 is OK... Very powerful, maybe on par with the ITX for my server use (crunching anyways)
4GB RAM is awesome, but RAM is slow (PC100... But I have about 10GB of it, incl 6x1GB PC100 ECCREG)
Minimal graphics expandability (but I do have an FX5500 256MB DDR PCI)
Onboard SCSI RAID... And I have a quadruplicate of 18GB 10k drives....
I would like to say BL is my #1 priority for this server but I dont play much anymore... And I pay my own electric bill... And PC arent known for being budget friendly.... Servers especially!
The ITX system would be far more energy effecient, but perhaps less performance....
On a side note, maybe I should take a picture of my room, I have about $10k in just goodies all over the place :-P Older stuff, but some is QUITE rare, including a triplicate of $100 P3 boards, and that giant heap of PC100 ECCREG and my might octo-Xeon monstrosity I cant use without dimming the lights :-P
