Substitute teachers bug me about my keyboard positioning.

I remember the Mandatory typing class we had to do way back in 5th grade.  The teachers made my type in the "correct" way, and when I did I was terrible. When I typed with only like, two fingers I excelled.

The home row is a crock of stuff.  It's absolutely useless.  It's only use is to figure out which key your fingers are on if you're typing in the dark, assuming you're poor and don't have a lightup keyboard yet.

I was always the best in typing though.  Nobody could understand why but it was all because of the internet.

I had to take typing lessons in 5th grade with home row. I always typed slow though because I never really used a computer because I'd much rather had been playing with LEGO. However Blocklands live chat system has forced my typing speed to increase. So now I can type faster than I ever could. If I tried home row right now, I guarantee this whole thing would have taken me like 10 minutes to type
