The Backflip was my very first Android phone. I sold some stuff to get a new, nicer phone off Craigslist since we weren't due for an upgrade yet, got a Windows Phone 7 phone (Samsung Focus). It wasn't my cup of tea so I sold it and bought a Captivate instead. After I bought the Captivate our upgrade popped up and I got the Infuse for $1. Hence, 3 phones.

I also find it kinda funny that I've unwittingly gone up screen sizes in half inches since I had my non-smartphone. My Sharp FX dumb phone is 3", my Backflip is 3.5", my Captivate is 4", and my Infuse is 4.5".

See the problem is that you have to add $15 for smart phones (You have to have this) onto the plan for ATT and my parents are not willing to pay that.

Also when I rooted and installed Cyanogenmod 7 a week or whenever ago, I completely lost Sprint network service, so i couldn't make any calls, or send any messages. :(
Unrooting, going back to the stock ROM, etc. didn't fix it so I had to get a new phone. :\
