CyanogenMod 9 (based on 4.0.4 (I think)) is pretty much going very soon; the RC1 is already out.
But you should probably look closer at the XDA-Developers forums.

Does it understand why kids love Cinnamon Toast Crunch?

Waiting for the Galaxy S2 to get updated to jellybean now.

probably will take a year for AT&T's S2s considering I just got Ice Cream Sandwich officially like a few days ago.

Which phone?
I am now an android user with my ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T with nvidia tegra 3 quad core 1.2 ghz 1gb ram and 32 gb memory. 10.1 inch screen with ice cream sandwich.

Nickelob Ultra has an AT&T variant Galaxy S2 running 4.0.3 official, 1.2GHz I think.

Ah. AFAIK ASUS uses vanilla Android, so after they have ported it people should gradually start getting dialogs telling them that an update is available and asking if they want to install it. If you're impatient, look over at XDA-Developers.

I'm really enjoying 4.1 right now.. super fast. Its literally like butter. And for once, ALL live wallpapers actually work with no lag.
forget you :(

Can anyone explain why my 4.0.3 AT&T Galaxy S2 suddenly just died in the night?
