Star Trek Online: Now F2P!

I only came up with a few ship names. Yangtze for the Miranda, with B and C being my Olympic and Destiny classes. Nova Prospekt for my Nova class (terrible name for a ship, I know, but it sounds cool), Huanghe for my Runabout, Providence for my type-8 (funny, I'm not religious at all), and Viridian for my Intrepid, B for Luna. My Delta-class is Viridian Hand, but I'm thinking of renaming it. If I ever get my refit Intrepid, I'll name it something else.

Probably something from Gundam. Like White Base. Or Argama. Or Albion.

You're better at names then I am. My ships are; Fib, Fib-A, Fib-B and Fib-C, and a bunch of other ships that are randomized names.

My ship names have been the Archimedes, the Manhattan, and the Convergence. I think they're all pretty good :D

Thing is, I don't just want a good name, I want one that hasn't been done before. I probably broke that rule with the Providence, though.

I went with famous disasters. My main ship is the Titanic, another is the Hindenburg, another is named after that recent cruise ship disaster Costa Concordia, another Lusitania, ect.

For those who didn't know (and who would rightly deprive themselves of knowing?) Star Trek Online will go Free to Play for general users on the 17th of this month.

Hey, guys, in Star Trek Online, are you required to be Federation, or can you be other races, such as Borg and Species 8472?

Right now you can only be Klingon or Federation, and you have to unlock Klingon at Federation level...16? 20? Something like that.

I doubt the Borg or Species 8472, whatever that is, but there are races other than human/klingon to choose. You will have to choose federation until you level a character up to 20/25 though.

the developers said that they will definetly add more species later, but they're trying to fix all of the current bugs right now.
