The large brass propellers churn the briney water. Attached to these propellers, a shaft, leading to a large vessel. On it, young men running about, doing their task. The first aircraft engine in nearly 4 months sputters to life. A Large kick back makes a man jump. Suddenly, there is a yell, and the gunners drop to their knees to meet one of many enemy planes. Explosions, and hot lead cut through the air. Behind the ship, a soft trail has been made, white foam lines the ocean a long the sides. It is miles long, it is "The Wake."
Men grab their helmets in their boats. The ramp opens, the sound of a rifle firing rings through the air.
...The battle of Wake Island is just beginning!
