Author Topic: SHS Stargate (Another Super Yacht) [Image Heavy!]  (Read 7705 times)

The SHS Stargate is my newest yacht design and a personal gift to Lonewolf168 for his birthday. Not much to say other than that. Enjoy!

The Hull

The Machine Room
The machine room is the tool room/jetski hangar and is accessible from the aft of the ship or inside on the lower level.

The Machine Room also features a small deployable dock on the starboard side.

Lower Level
Through the door in the machine room we come to the lower level hallway. The doors on the left lead to five guest cabins and an infirmary.

The door at the end of the hallway leads to this storage space...

... and the door in the storage space leads to the anchor chamber.

Upper Level
The Upper Level is the second deck of the ship and is host to two salons, the galley, and the owner's suite.
The aft salon.

The billiards salon.

Owner's Suite
The owner's suite is where the yacht's owner, Lonewolf168, spends his private time aboard the ship.

The Bow Deck
The bow deck features the amazingly innovative hot tub/helipad combination devised by StarHawk himself.

The Bridge Deck
The bridge deck hosts the ship's wheelhouse, of course, as well as her greatroom, which serves as a lounge, entertainment center, and dining room.
The greatroom

The wheelhouse

Aft Deck
The aft deck is primarily used for dining, as is apparent by the furniture.

Sky Deck
The most leisurely deck on the ship.

Jesus Christ this is awesome. I especially loved the angled stairs at the back, perfect execution/design

This is probably the best brick vehicle of any kind I have seen on Blockland.

Thanks everybody! =) Getting comments is my favorite part about building anything in Blockland so I really appreciate them.

I was expecting a stargate

oh well, nice job anyways

my problem is where do you store all those outdoor tables and chairs and glasses and misc stuff when it gets rough or choppy or downright awful

Excellent question. LEGO bricks take up MUCH more space than legitimate walls would so if I was building a real-world yacht I'd be able to format the floor plan to incorporate storage areas. The preposterous size of LEGO blocks already takes up enough space in the yacht that me building storage areas would be impractical/a waste of space/useless since it's LEGOs.

This is quite nice. Your interior sis done properly and doesn't look to gaudy or to plain. Most importantly the exterior and additions such as the jet skis are great. Very nice job, you should try to build some more vehicles such as a nice jet or maybe a fleet of ships.

Most excellent build. I like the simple and elegant design with no extra fiddlybits. I love it.

Your best boat build, simply amazing!  11/10

Holy stuff this is amazing. 10/10
Build a spaceship next?

I actually haven't worked on the Hyperion in ages. Might do that soon.
