Author Topic: Sonic in a progressive commercial  (Read 1034 times)

How did sega run out of money? With their ten year old sponsors going from game to game with names like sOnickid101

I thought Sonic Generations was treated very well, compared to the other games.
How are they this broke?

It's because sonic is 16 and can pay for his own car.

They have an official version. Just saw it for the first time a few minutes ago. Googled it, was linked to that through their site.

Quote from: http://www.progressive.com/commercials/sonic.aspx
    Jamie: What's he looking for?
Flo: I think he's looking for savings.
Flo: I can't watch this anymore.
Flo: Stop! There's an easier way! We compare your Progressive Direct rate to other top companies' so you get a great price. No more running around.
Flo: Wouldn't you love to see the world through his eyes?
Animated Jamie: I bet I look like the strongest man in the world!
Announcer: The best place to find a great deal. Now that's Progressive. Call or click today.

Yeah I saw this this morning. I was confused the entire time because like, of all the mascots out there they chose loving Sonic.

God damned Nathan Drake would've had more mass appeal than that blue turd.

it's just a for fun commercial
plus, this was probably made by the american department
ALSO SONIC NEEDS HEDGEHOG INSURANCE

the commercial doesn't make sense, but the model-sonic is better than them using those mario/sonic mascot outfits like in those stuffty olympic games commercials
I thought it was cool they used the old sonic invincibility theme too

indeed.
also sonic is becoming a better mascot, because Generations and Colors both made huge comebacks in the gaming industry.

I saw this on Sega's blog a couple of days ago. stuff sucks.

Just as a note, even Sonic's turdiest games (2006, Unleashed, etc) have all sold millions of copies each.
