Should I consider secondary developers?

No, retain the purity. One man, one mod, ein reich!
Yes.

Iban be warned. As mentioned before Brian Smith does have the tendency to want every good add-on. Then he ends up selling the add-ons for money. dun dun dun

I've been waiting all my life Blockland Years to help with CityRP-._. never mind
This is him trying to ease you into giving it to him. Just a little heads up.

The biggest thing about the donations is that it shouldn't become a pay-to-win game.
You wouldn't want those who won't or can't donate be completely discouraged from playing, because they can't compete with those who donate.
But you've gotta pay for a stable server somehow anyway so by all means go for it.
And it seems like you have already put quite a bit of thought into this,  not just a random idea to make more money.

The only person I could consider giving access to at the moment is Phydeoux. It might work out well if he can publish from the scripts/vehicles/ and scripts/weapons/ directory. Most of the properties for what dictates if an item is sold in stores or in the vehicle GUI are controlled by the datablock itself, so it's totally feasible that he could plug in his own contributions without even going through me.

Outside of that, I can't think of anyone. SpaceGuy would be a good person for bug checks and making things run better, but he codes in such a way I cannot read what he produces. He indents with a single space and compacts code wherever possible. It's illegible to a third party.

Ephialtes avoids me whenever possible.

I wouldn't trust Kalphiter with anything.

People like Zack0Wack0, Port, and Nitramtj I see all the time in the Coding Help forum and they usually know what they're talking about, but I can't force any of them into being interested and even then if I made a mistake and something goes wry we have a situation like every other loving version of this mod.

Lol'd.

Thing about me is I'm no coder. I need to take classes and such. I'm just an editor. I can read most stuff but I can't write any scripts from scratch or anything.
Tweaking datablocks is fine, that's all I really do. So the most I could really be useful for is altering values for better game balance, or plugging in new dts shapes that I've made, simple stuff like that.

And no I wouldn't trust kalphiter either.

Yeah, that'd be great. CityRPG has a totally unique weaponset and there are a lot of mathematical figures used in determining damage drop-off and other fun things like that.

A lot of people don't like Monty's stuff for whatever reason, so if you'd want to help in that department in the future, you'd be able to.

Keep in mind that all shapes are in Client_CityRPG so no downloading is nessicary. The Client is something like 7 megabytes, and the gamemode itself is under 1.

EDIT: Just looked at private repository pricing, very overpriced IMO.

I haven't done much as far as weapon modeling goes, but who knows I might get interested.

Okay. The election system's frameworks have been finished. The underlying code for voting and stuff has been completed and bulletproofed.

The code for electing a mayor goes like this:
1. Votes.
2. Existing Mayor.
3. Server Owner.

I would like to see examples of me trying to steal an Add-On, and me actually trying to sell Add-Ons. Not me a Nobot loving with Kalph.

Oh! I see!

1. Are there any votes? = no

moving on...

2. Is there any current mayor? = no

moving on...

3. Is there any current host? = yes

assigning host as mayor...

sounds pretty cool to me.

I had an odd idea while further developer the mayor's job script object.

The mayor sets his own wages. Like any other tax rate, he can apply himself a daily income anywhere between $0 and $1000. It's like legal embezzlement.

The catch?

- The treasury trickle, as I have dubbed it, is reported daily.
- The mayor's wages are reported daily.
- The mayor's wages are capped by the treasury trickle, and take money from it.

Would you vote for me twice? lol.

(Note: In a live server, the mayor gets a paycheck notice, everyone else gets the first notice.)

So only the people paying attention will know that the mayor is being a greedy ass? Something they could potentially point out to help themself get elected to hypocritically do on their term?
Now that sounds like politics.
Also, woo it would be my birthday on that server.

How is the penalty for embezzling tax money going to be carried out?

i think the penalty is either

you get assassinated
or
you dont get re-elected
