Author Topic: The Washington Monument  (Read 1693 times)

The Washington Monument along with the reflection pool. Not much, but I felt like building it. It is built to scale, so I had to do quite a bit of calculating for the monument itself and the pool.

considering the simple-ness of this, it looks pretty good.

How is it reflecting?
Do bricks reflect from water in Blockland?

If so I had no idea.

He has an up-side down version built under it.

That doesn't make sense because he is right on the slate floor.

did he say that?

since slate has no terrain and is just a trans floor and skybox you could go anywhere on the map and it would still look the same

You can tell by the skybox line. The skybox does not repeat the higher you go up.

yyyes it does

edit: another possibility is that he could have gone to the very edge of slate and built it there

This is great. I really like how you actually created the reflection

To answer your guys' argument/questions, the reflected building's bottom (well, top) is the ground for Skylands. So I am really high up where the picture with the water is.
