I paid $300+ for a CPU that's now barely $150 as well.

stuff decreases in value over time.  It's how economics roll.  Things that don't decrease in value are either super expensive/rare or the creators of it are starfishs and morons.

Valve let anyone who wants to play this amazing game. You have more people to play with, the company is thriving from the Mann Co., along with the community contributors. You probably would've spent whatever your price on tf2 was on McDonalds or a game that would rot in your library. Be glad you had it for as long as you had.

People like you give me the urge to punch something. First of all, I'm not 'butthurt'. I'm genuinely confused as to why a major company would rip off their customers. Also, 'butthurt' is a term used by morons spawned by the stuff-hole that is /b/.

Second of all, I'm not mad at F2P players. I am mad at Valve. This is kindof a ridiculous thing for a company to do.

Are you loving kidding me? You are butthurt as hell. This isn't a ripoff at all. Do you realize that the game was still popular before it was f2p? They had enough money from all the sales they were getting, so they let it be free and set up the f2p to p2p system. They are probably making less money than before, and if they are making more, who cares? EVERYBODY WINS. Valve makes money, and makes new games, while anyone can play TF2 and get premium. Get the forget out.
