Author Topic: Smoking weed is better than not smoking  (Read 3859 times)

hey bby, you still hanging out with Random?

Also just a fact for unknowing people Marijuana doesn't dilate pupils, true story.
It makes your damn eyes bloodshot.
Nothing some eye drops wont fix ;)

Ugh, not this again.
If it does somehow get legalized, businesses will have to be careful in regulation of their employees, considering the effects of weed tend to stay around for a while, and is somewhat similar to alcohol in it's effects. Also, weed should be prohibited from any place that bans alcohol or tobacco smoking.

Still, a good amount of people in the population will depend on it, and develop a psychological addiction to it, if not physical.
Watch The Union and stop with the "facts" you pull out of your ass.

Pfft, I smoke Skooma.

So can alcohol, oh wait, so then what's the loving problem?

Also, they did this over 20 years apparently. Do they also realize that more modern weed tends to have more things laced to it, and is more concentrated?
Lacing involves only drug dealers and it rarely happens. If you buy weed from a club or clinic it won't be laced. And it is true that marijuana today has more THC in it but that has nothing to do with the effect on the lungs

It doesnt hurt your lungs that much but it is still smoke, smoke C02 Gas which blood cells cant function with. It might not affect your lungs, but think about your brain, your heart, mainly, your bloodstream.

Ye, but then your eyes look bleached white.

They say that the deeper breathing can actually improve lung function, but I don't really believe it outweighs the smoke damage.

A friend of mine told me to try a breathing exercise to improve lung function; 4 seconds inhale, 4 seconds of holding, 4 seconds exhale, 4 seconds of holding, repeat.  It is really calming and forces you to use more of your lungs than you normally would.

It still doesn't state in the test where the participants got their weed from, and when these smokers actually started and stopped their smoking.

The article about the test is also very vague and gives barely any statistics. It barely gives any details about the characteristics of their subject groups. Heck, it doesn't even give details about what years the test was conducted. More information must be added for it to be credible to any degree.

So can alcohol, oh wait, so then what's the loving problem?

I didn't state there was one, did I?

Tell me where I was wrong

People will develop a psychological dependence to nearly anything. It just so happens that weed also gives feelings of pleasure so it will be a candidate for addiction by certain individuals.

Psychological addiction: Individual depends on it, not necessarily a physical addiction but it can be

Physical addiction: The body craves it strongly, might go into withdrawal without it (Example: Nicotine in cigarettes)

I never said weed must be physically addictive, as a lot of smokers of it tend to claim that it is not physically addictive.

So can alcohol, oh wait, so then what's the loving problem?

Mortality

Number of alcohol-induced deaths, excluding accidents and homicides: 23,199

So pretty much you don't see a problem with this doubling? Because people will smoke weed and drive.

I hadn't smoked before but I had friends who did and I sounded like a hippie talking about it should be legalized. ETC. So lots of people assumed I did including my parents, so I thought what the forget ever might as well.
I'm not gay but people assume I am. I'm not going to start getting forgeted in the ass just because people assume it already happens.

Allowing the use of recreational drugs will also be the first step of becoming the society described by Huxley in Brave New World

well what about AMSTERDAM

just curious

We eat stuffty food, drink alcohol, and smoke tar. Explain why we shouldn't be allowed to smoke/eat weed? If your argument is "people will die" or "it's bad for you" you're probably either a hypocrit or a pusillanimous individual.

just curious

Most European countries are progressing faster than the US towards the society Huxley imagined.

I haven't even read the book :c

what's this society like?
