I keep getting stuff I can't use. And apparently all the stuff I can afford is too powerful for me to use. I see what Demian means now, the experience is way too low and the pay off is far too small.
Most of the armor you use will be crafted by yourself. This has been my experience. Also, the initial levels seem slow because when you start out you don't know what you are doing. After you figure out the best way to level for your class, or what monsters you should/can kill, then you will begin to power up.
For example, fighting humanoid NPCs such as undead or dwarves or elves is silly because they don't give much exp and can be some of the toughest opponents. Wizards and witches are really stupid to battle because it only takes two of them to almost instantly kill a ranger with their crazy lasers, and they give hardly any exp. I imagine it would only take one or so more to kill any other class. Cows are a really good thing to kill, because you can kill them very quickly and they still give around 5 exp when you are levels ahead of them. For a ranged class, the ocean can give you piles and piles of experience and you won't take any damage.
the more i look up about this game the more i realize i know absolutely jack stuff about it
like seriously i feel so poorly informed and i read the whole website
That is kind of a fun factor. You get to try and figure out what things mean.
