next time I'm bored I'm gonna make a bunch of prequel avatars and at least one desktop background (no promises they'll be good) (or for that matter that I'll even do it) (but maybe)

so this made me wonder if  maybe prequel actually takes place after the oblivion crCIA?

the daedra are the only people who really utterly destroyed kvatch, if you ask me. but I suppose you could describe a previous invasion with those same words. the biggest problem with that theory is that kvatch wasn't rebuilt until the war, which is like a century after the oblivion crCIA, and unless some crazy stuff is going on there's no way sigrid would live that long

basically this is just an excuse to bump the thread and bring up the possibility of katia being the hero of kvatch again

According to UESP, the city was invaded in 3E 249 by the Camoran Usurper. The invading force was vastly superior, but there's no mention of how devestated the city was.

I would imagine this is the invasion mentioned, and that the quote is referencing that, with it being dramatic irony to say it won't happen twice, which we know it will do in the Oblivion CrCIA.
And I'd assume this is the plot of the story, hence the title being Prequel and there being TES Oblivion characters in the series.

I'm certain Katia will be the Hero of Kvatch.
