the front desk lady was a total dumbass too, she kept rambling on about how apple 'makes products 100% better than microsoft" and how her son has this super old mac from like 1998 and that he loves it to death and plays all his games on it.

plus she kept saying how macs are worth their price because they have 'highly advanced and secret hardware that microsoft doesnt have'.

she pulled up this dumbass slogan of 'once you go mac, you dont go back'

i really wanted to slap her across the face, because she clearly knew nothing about what she was talking about
oh wow
What is this place called?

Haha oh wow. Macs run perfect with games.

There is a default program installed called Bootcamp Assistant which basically allows you to run any windows software right on your Mac. Which also means games.

I have a gaming Mac which might sound silly but it runs like a charm.

Ethan I think we should roll in there and throw computer cases at them.

What's the point of getting a Mac if you're going to have to do that anyway? Why not just save half price and get a Windows in the start? Then also, you're running an emulator which slows everything down as it's not direct. And hardware isn't as optimized for games as it's less of a gaming OS.

Ok. Hold up, I've got a wardrobe full. Got a trailer?

>emulating DirectX
lol enjoy your bottlenecks

To game on a Mac with that method you probably need at least 1/3 more of the power just to get the same output.

Because Windows software is stuff for everything else but games. Macs are used for business ideal stuff but also any games that come out for Mac are always the better ones anyways. Bootcamp Assistant is not an emulator as you need to run a windows software installer wherein you can buy at Walmart or of course online for a much cheaper price.

All that put together you get a top brand computer with a sleek lovey design, amazing techniques for making business ideas and much more plus a gaming Mac installed with the correct software. All quite nice actually.

The fact I have a Mac and a Windows and I can compare these things.

it doesn't matter if you have both of them if you're biased. this isn't fair towards either side, you immediately opened with "windows software is stuff for everything else but games". you have no idea what you're talking about.

anyway,

have fun with your shiny white box that costs twice the amount my lovey gaming PC does, I'll have fun running circles around you performance wise :)

Enjoy buying an entirely new Mac every 5 years or so.
