And weed is very well rooted in the economy. It's a multi billion dollar industry that touches more then pot heads and dealers.
It would not be good for the economy to legalize it.

Anyway, I would be happy if it was legal for recreational usage, but in small amounts (as in you cannot legally just go and buy an ounce or two).

Also, I'd prefer the legal age for purchasing it to be 21 instead of 18.

I think it should be legal, but there shoudl be a tax on it.

Reasons why:
1: Look at the Prohobition. When it was in effect, alcohol use actually went up because it was considered cool to drink illegally. Also, crime went of because of trafficking. After they ended it, alcohol use went down because it wasn't cool to drink illegally anymore

2: The government could probably make a fair amount of money, that would help with the budget crap.

This. The only thing making it illegal does is make people criminals. When drinking was illegal, did people stop drinking? No, they just did it illegally. Making marijuana illegal doesn't stop people from using it, it just distracts the police force from issues that actually matter.
