I will be condescending as stuff to people who can't own up to their own beliefs. You can be wrong all day and I'll respect your opinion but you're not allowed to be disingenuous. That just muddles up the world and ruins things for everyone.
The problem is the poll didn't allow us to combine reasons.
I just think it should be legal, no particular reason. Don't really use it too often, and I realize the 'economic benifites' wouldn't exactly change american daily life as we know it, and so forth, it's just not something that needs to be illegal.

I believe that if it becomes legal then it will be everywhere.
So, they should keep it illegal so it's not like normal smoking.

I would like to know if a single one of these people do not themselves or a very close friend or family member want to actually smoke it.
Me.
Though I primarily chose that option for lack of a better one.

Why the forget are your poll answers biased towards keeping it illegal? None of the legalize options seem attractive.

Have you still not smoked yet?

The reason weed is so profitable is because it's illegal. Legalizing it wouldn't help the economy a damn bit, but then who am I to expect a bunch of kids and potheads to understand economics.

No. I have. That's why I'm pissed he's biased towards keeping it illegal. He's not even sure about his pro-legalization claims. "It might help the economy in some way." I'll give you a way it'll help the economy, millions of dollars redirected from illegal drug transportation organizations to taxed legal income.

The going price for legal medical weed where I live in southern cali is 15-25/g. Illegally, the best deals I can find anywhere is 120/half ounce, about $8.5 per gram. Point is, legalized weed has an inflated price and quality weed will always cost more than stuff weed. Look to the tobacco or alcohol industries for references. Alcohol isn't very expensive, yet it generates a lot of tax income. Cigarettes, before negative propaganda, were also good tax money, but those are addictive so they're not the best comparison. I also didn't even mention the hemp industry. Hemp makes the best loving everything. Everything.

Hemp makes the strongest fabric, it makes the best paper, it's good.

Legalize it.
It's stupid for police to spend so much time on, some people just legitimately enjoy it, and it's better than tobacco.
Also hemp is helpful.

I could care less about it being legal or not, the only reason it is still illegal is the DEA and other government agencies need this petty stuff to keep their easy pay.

Dont legalise. If it became legal suddenly all the good dealers who sell Haze would go out of business.

Also just for the record everyone tobacco and alcohol is worse for your health

It's funny how potheads are defensive about a bunch of smoke that's harming their lungs.

Vape, babe.

Anyone who touches drugs, if they're legal or illegal, is an idiot for me.
Legalizing it won't stop it, but it'll stop the black market, and the black market is quite harmful.
However, maybe if people were required to have a brain destroying permit or something,
I dunno. Permits for guns works. Permits for drugs, probably not.
