"my security" my ass. They want total control of the population to ensure THEIR safety as a government. They're afraid of a power change. It's within our rights to do this. The men who founded this country's government in its first weeks even said that it's the duty of the people to challenge the government. It's been like that since then til modern times. Why are we getting upset now all of a sudden? Maybe because our rights are being taken away.

East Asia has nothing to do with this. This is entirely a domestic problem.

Yes it can. It also allows the government to take away your American citizenship.

This is why they're building all these FEMA camps right now around the country.

You see Iraq and Afghanistan was just a part of it. This goes all the way back into Korea.

It's common knowledge that the US was driven out of Korea after trying to invade China, China being a powerful center of Industry and commerce, it's no surprise that it'd be beneficial to not let such powers fall to communism and be used against us.

Invading the Middle East was an effort to establish footholds west of China, friendly governments where the US and Europe could operate out of, while the USA primarily launched its campaign from Japan and South Korea.

Once the Euro collapses, the USA's #1 customer will be gone. Our country will siphon up all that's left of the European market while the American and Japanese markets lose everything to China.

There's one ignoble solution that's likely to happen.

WAR

The US and Europe will stage a war on false pretenses, on something other than the truth so as to not be demonized by history.

There will be intellectuals, and dissenters. People will protest the war, and a country that's in a depression won't be able to have a sufficient military-industrial complex without an assload of production and patriotism.

Dissenters and protesters will be jailed as terrorists as they'd hurt American morale.

The rest of the mindless drones will be filled with blind patriotism for their country and it'll be beneficial to the US war effort.

Pakistan and Russia will no doubt aid China. Europe will have to take our side or they'll drown in their own debt and risk communist occupation.

NDAA is one of those things that people will undoubtedly abuse. Someone talking a bit too loud about the government's bullstuff? Whoops, turns out they're a terrorist trying to bring down the country.
