Author Topic: Is it discipline or abuse?  (Read 2781 times)

So my dad called me out to the kitchen and said; Dinners done, I looked at it and it was godawful stirfry for the 100th time in a row now.
I said "I dont want stirfry for the 100th time in a row." and i went to grab some oranges.
He grabbed my by the throat, held me up choking me, threw me on the ground and punched me in the face, then I ran off to my room.

is this a way of discipline or is it child abuse?

I suspect trolling, but child abuse.

how would that ever be an effective form of discipline?

also i like stir-fry, dont know why anyone would dislike it

Just a being an ape being a dumb ape.

you must have one strong and terrifying father

I don't know any average joe who could lift a 16 year old up by the throat.

you must have one strong and terrifying father
hahha
him:uh dad i don't really want this...
dad: WHAT THE forget DID YOU SAY
him:NOTHING
dad:YOU WILL EAT THIS AND LIKE IT
him:OK

And you go on the forums to ask us if your father choking you and punching you in the face is abuse?

The forget?

i call bullstuff and attention whoring

but if it is true call da 911 or tell another guardian you have (or child protection services).

I call bullstuff also. I mean, what kid doesn't like stirfry?

It's child abuse, and most likely didn't happen to you.

It's totally discipline. Real fathers kill you painfully and then bring you back to life and then punch you in the face.

That was the most appropriate action anyone could have administered to a person that declines stir fry.
