Ron Paul is a libertarian, so how can he be tribal? What was said in the newsletters is not what he preaches at all. Look at Gingrich instead. He is basically saying all Palestinians are terrorists, which is ignorant. That's pretty f-ed up in my opinion.

According to a 2006 report by the American Civil Liberties Union, African Americans make up an estimated 15% of drug users, but they account for 37% of those arrested on drug charges, 59% of those convicted and 74% of all drug offenders sentenced to prison. Or consider this: The U.S. has 260,000 people in state prisons on nonviolent drug charges; 183,200 (more than 70%) of them are black or Latino.

and Gingrich had the balls to say that the Palestinians are an INVENTED people!  Santorum wants to bomb anyone with brown skin.  And Romney will do whatever israel tells him to do, just like Obama to keep the campaign dollars rolling in.  Ron Paul is the only candidate that puts this country first.

Wow you are as brainwashed as the liberal democrates.

It's still bad that he let them be punished under his name, and he might be associating with some tribal people

he wants freedom for the individual regardless of race and has even helped people who were victims of racism:

My only regret is that I am not of age to vote yet.

Also, that's a SuperPAC's commercial, needs more legit proof

Associating with them almost two decades ago. Everybody makes mistakes.

why are ron paul supporters the only ones making topics on every medium-large forum about RON PAUL 2012 forget THAT HE'S BEEN PROVEN TO BE tribal AND HOMOPHOBIC WE STILL WANT HIM BECAUSE WE ARE SECRETLY tribal/HOMOPHOBIC

Good job ignoring everything soba posted. I'm going to just assume you're joking.

he literally refused to use the bathroom at a house because the guy was gay, and he wouldn't shake a guys hand because he was gay

if we came from monkeys, why haven't the ones in the zoos turned into humans yet then?

if jews came before christians, then why are there still jews?

Dondero was fired by Ron Paul years ago, and takes digs at him on all topics.
His real problem is foreign policy, and having been fired.
Re read what he wrote, and remember no one recorded these decades old exchanges.
If a guy needed to go to the bathroom then and just didn't want to get into a discussion of whether he should wait, wouldn't it sound a lot like one of those exchanges?
And as for not shaking hands because someone was gay, his old campaign manager was openly gay, and I assure you they shook hands all the time.

First, a correction. I didn't own LFB, it was another bookstore, but I later ran LFB, so that is a mistake I can live with. Also, my partner Frank, would have gone with to some things, but not all things by any means as his job wouldn't allow it. But he did go with to some events or meals.

The term "what you would call very openly Gay" is a tad bit insulting and gay is not capitalized.
The openly gay part means I raised Paul's unfriendly attitudes toward the equal rights of gay people with him, I did that on numerous occasions over the years.
I was not aware of the bathroom issue with Paul, but then it wouldn't be the sort of thing he would tell me, would it?

It is, however, entirely consistent with the type of rubbish that was later published in newsletter regarding HIV.
In addition I have long said that gay issues made Ron very uncomfortable.
In my experiences he was more relaxed when people were not known to him to be gay.
He got very prickly when gay issues were raised with him and didn't like discussing it.
You could see his discomfort level rising significantly when the topic arose.
He would get very defensive and made it clear that he didn't want to talk about it.

For the record, I do not agree with Mr. Dondero on foreign policy nor do I particularly like him.
In 1988 I reluctantly supported Paul, I had major reservations due to his record on gay rights.
I expressed those reservations and among the imperfect choices offered went with Paul.
If I had it to do over again, I would not.
My preferences candidate wise is with Gary Johnson today.

I don't find Dondero's revelations scathing at all.
I'm not gay but certainly don't feel uncomfortable at all around people who are.
The fact that Ron Paul (assuming this all is true) is personally uncomfortable with gays but puts forth a political ideology that doesn't discriminate & strives to protect the personal liberties of ALL Americans,
I think speak volumes...Think or feel whatever you want about anyone but support the rights of ALL...that's all that really matters, IMO.

Personally, I don't believe all of this, considering the fact that the media never attacks him on it, this is from last year, and I was only able to find one source on this
