Author Topic: Getting a smart phone. Need suggestions.  (Read 2057 times)

Hi, I'm getting a Verizon Smartphone, does anyone have any suggestions?

Things I'm looking for:
Keyboards are good but they can't be on the front of it.
Lots of apps and such.
Not stuff.
Durable.
ANDROID OS PLEAASE. NO iPHONES!

Right now I'm looking at the Xperia Play (Hmm, anyone have this? How many games are around on it?), the Windows Phone (Trophy?) and anything else you suggest I'll look into.

Thanks.

Smartphones are dumb.
Actually I know nothing about phones.

Isn't that a T-Mobile phone?
it's available on my stuffty obscure network (us cellular) so i assume you'd be able to get it for verizon too

nope. and no keyboard.

Droid Incredible 2 is a pretty nice phone
I could've sworn there was a ban on selling HTC devices in the US but obviously Verizon is still selling it

iPh-nevermind

get an iphone with an otterbox case, it is bitching. I've fallen while skateboarding and landed right on my phone, no damage to the phone or case.

if this is true then I would honestly suggest an iPhone
my mom has one and it's pretty cool and has a really damn big variety of apps

DROID Bionic. Get from best buy, problem solved.
Its an amazing phone.

Smartphones are dumb. People tend to break their phone more often than any other device. Why not get a cheap phone that can act as a hotspot, then purchase an iPod Touch or something for your smartphone needs?

Some phones can take some damn good beatings before breaking, which they do violently...

My friend dropped his iPhone down the stairs once, it was fine.

A week later, he dropped it like a foot and the screen cracked all the way down.
