What I mean is how are they going to tie it in with the past game? Chell is free, and that's pretty much what the whole story of the game was based around. It's not like they're going to change the ending again just for a new game.

seriously, portal 2 left us at an end for a reason--because it won't be continued, except for the co-op story. we might see a bit of information about aperture in ep3/hl3, but we won't be seeing another game centered around chell or with chell as a character.
