Not absolutely sure if this is just my opinion, but Call of Duty seems to have a younger and more vocal (in a bad way) fanbase than Battlefield. In MW3, I'll get an AC130 and get 15+ kills with it, and some kid at the end of the round will yell "OMG HACKER WOW YOU NOOB I WILL KILL YO AND RIP OUT YOUR SPLEEN AND EAT IT!" It's sad to see people do this. It's just a game. You don't need to yell at me for being good at it out of jealousy. There are no unwritten rules to Call of Duty either. Camping does not exist, and campers aren't impossible to kill. People freak out over a game when games are played to have fun, not shorten your lifespan by getting wound up and stressed every game. In Battlefield, I have never even heard one kid on the mic, and people don't rage as much. I'm not saying Battlefield is perfect, but I'm trying to make the point that Call of Duty has so many kids with anger control issues on the mic all of the time.
