Author Topic: Kid rages at Modern Warfare 3.  (Read 2050 times)

I completely refuse to play Mw3 CoD at my friend's house because of things like this. Not to mention, while i watch/ listen to him play, he just sits there and bags on AVA, HL2, or whatever FPS i'm playing, just because "CoD is the best FPS"! It's getting old.

Not absolutely sure if this is just my opinion, but Call of Duty seems to have a younger and more vocal (in a bad way) fanbase than Battlefield. In MW3, I'll get an AC130 and get 15+ kills with it, and some kid at the end of the round will yell "OMG HACKER WOW YOU NOOB I WILL KILL YO AND RIP OUT YOUR SPLEEN AND EAT IT!" It's sad to see people do this. It's just a game. You don't need to yell at me for being good at it out of jealousy. There are no unwritten rules to Call of Duty either. Camping does not exist, and campers aren't impossible to kill. People freak out over a game when games are played to have fun, not shorten your lifespan by getting wound up and stressed every game. In Battlefield, I have never even heard one kid on the mic, and people don't rage as much. I'm not saying Battlefield is perfect, but I'm trying to make the point that Call of Duty has so many kids with anger control issues on the mic all of the time.

it's because the average lifespan on call of duty is like 30 seconds, and so when you die, that's just annoying you die after getting maybe one kill? battlefield, i have never played, but it sounds good how you can use teamwork. the only thing close to that is hardcore in call of duty, where you have less health and no hud, so people use more teamwork, though i believe battlefield has a  more mature audience because of all the things you are able to do rather than run and gun.

Ive never had a good team in BF3 that actually works together

Im farely good at MW3 and can beat my friend (he plays all the time and is much higher level)
I just mess around too (Quickscoping and trickshots and such)

Idk why he gets so ticked

its probably bad for your health lol

I have long lives in Call of Duty, and I move around rather quickly :s

Battlefield might have a more mature audience because it is more intense, but the action is spread into bursts. Those little kids with major ADD can't play a game that doesn't have an explosion at least every five seconds, so Call of Duty is the only logical choice.

i love how they design the game so that people can get grenade kills or just kills period from the most bullstuff places, the smallest hole anywhere, you can't go anywhere without the fear of a small deadly sphere rolling into your path. i just FFFFFUUUUUUUU when i hear that sound of the grenade bouncing.

Quickly regenerating health is absolute horse stuff. I don't know how many kills I've lost after emptying a mag into someone and having them dart around a corner to pop back out and kill me.

and i hate how overpowered shotguns are and how far you can get killed from and then in mw3, they barely do anything

Striker. That is all.

Mw3≠real life. I don't know anyone who can take several bullets and still be able to move on with whatever objective.

And if you want to talk shotguns in Mw3, the only problem anyone has with them is the Striker, because of the high rate of fire, distance, and power.

Oh and also, holy forget. I was just watching some videos of Search and this guy gets so many game winning kills and all of these kids start yelling "OH YOU'RE PLAYING WRONG HARDSCOPE! HAAAAARRRDDDDDSCOOOPPEEERRRR!!!!!" I swear to god, that's how you're supposed to use a sniper rifle.

I love it when COD kids come on TF2 and start saying they're so cool because they no-scope on there, then get shut down by anyone with a mic.

No-scoping in TF2 does what, 5 damage?

Yeah, quickscoping is, in my opinion, the stupidest way to play any fps game. Oh man, I can tap the left trigger, followed by the right! I have skills! Try shooting down a jet in Battlefield with unguided rockets.

The game.

Anyway, I agree.
