Set lighting to 0.5 0.5 0.5 and everythings fine looking for me.

If the lighting is inverted, can't you just take the lighting and invert it again back to normal?

If you reverse the numbers and relight the map, it's fine, but now players and other non-map objects are colored weird

this isn't a bug for everyone though. A huge majority of people have this problem, but not everyone. if you do that, everyone not having the problem suddenly has the problem. it isn't really a fix, it's more like avoiding the problem that's being avoided

Didn't the map turn red literally on that "Hell day" or something a few months back? Megascience pointed that out when he noticed the colorshift.

So, this must be completely intentional but for whatever reason Badspot doesn't want to revert it.

Well that's three people including Megascience that say it's due to some sort of hellish day. And being a religious Christian, that's almost a bit offensive to me. Hope it gets fixed soon, :/

nah.
a bug shouldn't need a petition to be fixed. it should be fixed no matter how small of a bug it is.
