It puts you back to the menu screen, where the change class option is flashing.

What now?

i think you forgot that stoja is a vector combat system
meaning he's basically a sniper

>Go back to the sleepers and see if anything happened

You walk back to the sleeping area. Nothing in particular happened. After an hour or so of messing with the little cube, Axiometra and Navaro have woken up and are ready to go.

YOU ARE NOW CONTROLLING AXIOMETRA
WHAT DO

minibump for a heads-up
i'll be away saturday through monday and won't have access to internet
so you'll be starved of updates of 3 days

is this dead or something can i have a command pretty please

go back outside and see if scary thing is there

You walk outside and don't see a sign of the mech anywhere. Bot beeps at you:

>IT'S LIKE A DEADLY GAME OF HIDE AND SEEK
>ISN'T THAT FUN?
>No.
>YEAH WELL
>YOU WERE NEVER ANY FUN.
>NYAH.

He doesn't say anything after that. You still want to drown him in a river.

Annoyances aside, where shall we go?

>See if there's any interesting landmarks or something around you

Well, there's trees. And trees. And bushes. Nothing really interesting.

You're about to look around a bit when you hear Navaro yell something in Russian. Turning around, you see that what looks like another TAMS has gotten a hold of his scarf and is holding it just out of his reach.

"This is a lovely scarf," she teases, putting it around her neck and rubbing it on her face. "It's so nice and soft!"

Navaro leaps up and grabs an end of the scarf, pulling it off of the TAMS while dragging her out of the tree. She doesn't seem bothered by this at all, and she gets up and dusts herself off.

"Who the hell are you?" Navaro demands as he wraps the sky blue scarf around his neck.

The other TAMS grins and replies, "MSNC-L, or Mesanic Lia."

"That's an... odd class name," you comment.

"It stands for Multi-System Navigation Class," she explains cheerfully. "We specialize in mapping the area. I was just about to head into that building when I saw that adorable TAMS in your group. Oh, what's his name?"

"MCS-N, or Markus Navaro," Navaro replies, sounding annoyed.

"Awww, that's such a cute name," she giggles. "Hey, can I come with you guys?"

Accept Lia into your party?

Might as well, she'll be useful for knowing where you are, and might lead you to other, slightly more useful TAMS.
No way is this gonna backfire disastrously on you.

updating tomorrow because i'm not in the mood for updates
mysto keeps raging at me for something i didn't do

actually no updating now

"I guess you can come with us, all the better," you say. She grins in excitement.

"So, where do we go now?" she asks.

we need to fan out and adventure

have everyone explore a bit by themselves and come back to the lab in 2 hrs. tell them to call out if they need help.

"Alright, let's fan out," you sort-of order, handing each of them some of the extra communicators that you picked up back in the underground area. "Meet back at the lab in two hours, send out a call if you need help."

They all nod and split up: Lia to the mountains, Stojanow to the areas behind the base, and Navaro over towards the thicker forest. That just leaves the desert for you, and you waste no time in making your way over towards it.

You step out onto the hot sand after a few minutes of walking. It gets suddenly hotter here, almost as if this was all some sort of miniature biome.

As you walk, you ponder the locations of all those bases. One in the forest, one here in the desert, and one by the pond. None of them seem to have any significance, but you wonder how many others there are- possibly one in the mountain and the thick forest? And what would they contain? The desert complex seemed to have supplies, the thin forest lab had research workers, the pond had that mech, so what would be in the others?

You consider aerial vehicles in the possible mountain base, but you aren't sure what might be in the thick forest. Possibly something they wanted to keep hidden? But that doesn't make a lot of sense, why would they have put something as dangerous as that Kkryonitte stuff in an easily accessible area? Unless this planet was completely forgotten about, which would've made it perfect for stuff like that.

You've been walking around for about an hour. Surprisingly, you haven't received any messages from your team mates. You think you should probably start heading back, but you see a small village not too far away.

Where to?
