Go like, I dunno, say hi?
"Er..." You're a bit uncomfortable standing in front of him; after all, you
did try to "steal" his ship. The giant gun on hid back might also be a reason. "...hello?"
He smiles a bit before walking to the front window of the ship. Lia steps out of his way; it's clear that she's also a bit intimidated. "What are we stopping here for?" he asks, turning around and leaning against the controls.
"We have a few... companions waiting here," Lia answers.
"Well then, let's get them," he grins, landing the ship. "But there's one thing I'd like to ask. Are they also TAMS?"
"Yeah, MCS-N and VTS-V4," you reply, eager to get out of the ship.
"Ah, I see." He opens the door, clearly too busy thinking to ask any more questions. Lia follows you into the basement of the town hall, but you can't help but feel like something is watching your every move.
"Hey, Stoja?" you peer inside. It seems like Stojanow and Navaro are both sleeping. "Hey," you call, louder this time. "Wake up already!" You toss Bot in their direction (he's durable, you're sure he'll survive the throw), and you hear the same "wheeee" that you heard when you *accidentally* threw him at Navaro.
>THROW ROLL RESULT: 5
You hit Stojanow in the head, quickly waking him up. Navaro is awoken by the sound of Bot hitting the floor.
"Oh, him again..." you can hear Navaro mumble, sitting up. Stojanow sits up a bit more reluctantly, rubbing his head as Navaro tosses Bot back.
"Come on, we're heading out," you tell them.
"Now?" Navaro and Stojanow say in unison, now completely alert. "Where are we going?" Stojanow asks on his own.
"Not sure, but we... encountered another TAMS," you answer, shuddering a little. You aren't sure why you don't like Sedic, though. "I guess we're headed to space."
"Really? Why are we headed there?" Lia glances at you as Navaro says this, as if she's silently telling you to hurry up. She walks back upstairs, you assume she's headed back to the ship.
"Don't really know that, either. Just get what you need and come upstairs." With that, you turn and walk out.
You see Lia standing next to the ship with Sedic. "Hey, Axio," she calls to you as you join them. "This Xeron guy isn't too bad."
You finally get a good look at Sedic here in the bright desert sun. His armor looks pretty battle-worn, but his eyes seem to tell that he hasn't been around that long at all. You assume he was created 50, maybe 80 years ago (of course, TAMS don't really show any signs of aging at all, since they aren't really human). He's several inches taller than you, too.
You look over your shoulder briefly as you hear Stojanow and Navaro walk out onto the dusty path. "Well, that's a nice ship, isn't it?" Stojanow muses, looking thoughtful as always. Navaro simply mutters something in that alien language, shading his eyes from the sun.
"Well, I suppose that's all of them?" Xeron asks, looking down at you.
"Yeah, that's all," you answer, reluctantly walking back into the ship. Navaro and Stojanow follow you in, while Lia and Xeron climb in last. The ship door shuts behind them as Xeron walks towards the controls.
"Well, where to?" he asks.
