You make your way to the city, loosely followed by Navaro.

The place seems destroyed and deserted. What might've been gleaming buildings are now broken piles of glass and metal. The streets are ruined, and the vehicles are strewn about like children's toys. Bones are poking out from under the rubble, probably citizens who couldn't get out in time.

Tendrils of Kkryonitte seem to weave through the wreckage. You're about to move on when something moves.

Something big.

You turn around to see a massive 8-legged creature rising up from the ruins. Skeletons are attached to it, forming a big, bloody mass. Chunks of metal and rock rain down, and you feel like you're rooted to your spot. You hear Navaro shout, "Run!" as he grabs you, shoving you out of the way of the rocky downpour.

"What the hell is that thing?" you ask, still dazed.

"Don't ask me," Navaro replies harshly.

You get up- still a little unsteady- and glance around, looking for a way to escape. The creature lets out something like a cross between a roar and a screech as one of it's legs slams into a pile of rubble near where you and Navaro are hiding. The rocks and shards go everywhere, but thankfully neither of you get hit.

There's a road to your right. Though it's mostly covered in Kkryonitte, you should be able to run through the safe patches without getting noticed. Then again, there's an almost completely clear road in front of you. It's risky, since the creature might notice you easily, but you might be able to run fast enough to get away. If not, you're screwed.

Which way?

You point to the open road up ahead, and Navaro nods. Without another hesitation, the two of you take off running as fast as you can.

Glancing to your left, you spot Stojanow and Lia. They seem surprised by your situation, and seem to be dazed as they run towards the two of you.

Navaro manage to get ahead of you and keeps running once he's out of the city. You still manage to make it out, albeit not quite as well as he did, but you're still out.

By now, Stojanow and Lia have caught up to you. The four of you make for the nearby forested area. With any luck, you should be able to hide there for a bit.


You and your party have managed to make it to the forest, and you gladly lean back against one of the trees. Everyone seems exhausted.

"Well, now we get why this place had so much trouble going on," Stojanow says, breaking the silence.

"Tell me about it," mutters Navaro, rolling his eyes.

You can try to call the station to see if they have any records on it. Other than that, you don't think you've ever encountered this thing before.
