Author Topic: [SEMI-50x40] TRILOS IV - SPACE? YOU TELL ME [ACT 1]  (Read 44806 times)

You're about to tell yourself there's only one door (that being the one you came from) when you notice a balcony going around the walls. The staircase is near you, and you crawl up the stairs with relative ease.

You spot a door a few yards away from you. Getting up and leaning on the handrail, you make your way over to it.

The unlocking system seems to be operated by a keycard, which you had taken from one of those guards earlier. You ready the stolen card and are about to swipe it when you hear more shattering of glass. Apparently you didn't realize that you had just activated every bot in the Block D cloning facility. Whoops.

Oh well, better get out of here, then. You swipe the card and the door unlocks with a click. You hurry through, only to get your face met with a heavy object. You hit the ground, on the edge of a total system shut down.

"Well, you certainly got far and did a lot of damage on the way," you hear an amused voice. You catch a few glimpses of the spinning room before your visual systems shut off due to severe damage. "Doesn't look like we'll be putting you on a portable. Such a shame, you would've been good friends with that other guy. That is, if we still had him." The human seems to keep talking, but it's become so messed up that you can't understand him.

After a few moments, your systems completely shut down.

Wait whoa
I think I get it
That was a storage for a bunch of other TAMS and
TAMS have two eyes, those other guys only have 1
the unidentified robots appear human, but if you look closely, they're far from it
apparently bot was once on of those unidentified robots before he was put on a portable, probably because he wasn't quite right in the head. his "relative" (as i'm assuming) was apparently due to be put on a portable because he too was wrong in the head.

Find more crap to do.

Speaking of DCB, you wonder if she's been cleared for release yet.

You're about to go visit her when something pops up on the side of your HUD. Apparently you're being called to some sort of meeting. Huh.

You arrive in the meeting room. It's a large rectangular room with a very long glass table. Each seating place has a touchscreen built into the space in front of it, and there are various hologram projectors in the room. You see that the flowering plants that decorate the room's corners are coming into a colorful bloom.

Among a few important humans and Chyrannians, you see a few head directors from the TAMS team, including Hemias Besidras. Surprisingly, TNMS1 is also seated, along with everyone in your party, Themeron, and Xeron.

And Deceb Zetra.

Amazingly, someone figured she'd be stable long enough to last a whole meeting. Of course, you aren't sure how long it'll last, but you've been given a complete file on what the meeting is all about. So either they figured she'd find some fresh air useful after all that time in solitary confinement, or they thought she might be of use here.

"I'm glad you could make it, Ciricad Axiometra," Hemias says, standing up. You take a seat at the head of the table. Navaro and Stojanow are on either side of you, with Themeron by Navaro and Lia next to Stojanow.

Hemias faces the rest of the meeting's participants before continuing. "I'm sure each of you are at least somewhat aware of the growing threat posed by the Kkryonitte virus. It's stripped several planets of their life and has claimed countless more lives of organics and robots alike."

You glance over at Deceb, who seems to disagree with what Hemias is saying. Nevertheless, she seems to be handling herself rather well. You notice what looks like a planet on one of the screens set into the wall.

"Thanks to several missions and over a year of research, we believe we've located a general source for this virus. We've found that the ones responsible for this epidemic are known as Shy'ryx. After one of our TAMS crews were attacked by Shy'ryx fighter ships, we discovered that the Shy'ryx use Kkryonitte for nearly everything: weapons, fuel, even shielding."

One of the human participants raises his hand slightly before speaking. "How are these... Shy'ryx workers capable of withstanding the Kkryonitte's effects? As far as all of our research has uncovered, there is no way to become immune to it. It corrupts organics and robots alike."

At this, Deceb steps in, and everyone looks at her in surprise. "Well, if you believe so firmly that there is no cure, no immunity whatsoever, then why aren't I dead?"

Everyone falls silent for a moment as they think it through.

A small smile creeps onto Deceb's face, and you're fearing that she's lost stability until she speaks again. "Those Shy'ryx researchers have found a... cure, if you want to call it, to this 'virus.'" She stands up, both of her hands on the table. "In fact, they're creating an entire robotic army that's completely immune to it's effects!"

TNMS1, still with Bot's AI built into him, looks up. "I've seen it for myself," he says, and he sounds surprisingly serious. "I was there until they put me on that Portable because of my mental instability."

One of the Chyrannian leaders stares at TNMS1 in horror. "You're one of those Shy'ryx workers?"

TNMS1 shrugs and opens his mouth to speak, but you're the one who jumps in. "He's mostly stable and he's certainly on our side. I found him over a year ago on the planet below. With what I know now, I'm assuming that the facility I found him in was once a Shy'ryx base of operations."

"That's all fine and dandy, ma'm," begins one of the younger human representatives, "but how do you know that your friend TNMS1 isn't still controlled by Shy'ryx?"

One of the Chyrannian elders adds on to the human's inquiry. "It's entirely possible that he could turn on you at any moment," he says in a cracked voice.

"There's an incredibly high chance that Bo- TNMS1 is considered dead to the Shy'ryx," you reply firmly.

"That's possible," says the Chyrannian, "but it's also possible that you're taking a huge risk with him."

You sigh and lean back a bit. "That is possible," you agree quietly.

Navaro frowns and straightens up. "I don't think this meeting was held to argue over how much we can trust TNMS1," he says, looking over at Hemias for confirmation. She gives a nod and looks back at the group.

"All that aside, we're currently debating on if attacking the Shy'ryx's current base of operations would be a worthwhile step in halting the threat of the Kkryonitte virus. We aren't entirely sure what exactly we're up against, which is why we've called in both human, TAMS, and Chyrannian representatives."

She takes a breath as the screens change yet again. "We're left with a few options that I'll present here. We can launch an outright full-scale attack; we could send an agent such as TNMS1 in to gather more information on what exactly the Shy'ryx are doing; or we can sit back and wait."

Oh damn, son. stuff be going down.
Let's consider our options, here.
Sending TNMS-1 into the base could be risky, as he seems to bear quite a large semblence to the TAMS. He isn't immune to the kkryonite, so infection is a great risk.
A full scale attack would be stupid. It's more than likely that your enemies could easily blast your entire army with kkryonite, effecively ending your invasion befoe it begins.
We cannot simply sit back and wait, however. Our best option right now would be develop a vaccine and cure for the kkryonite virus, with the aid of Deceb, give TNMS-1 some kind of suit to keep him clean, and then send him into recon. If you could make the suit invisible, then that would be great. After the kkryonite vaccine or anti-kkryonite suits are made, if ever, make them for as many of your forces as possible, ready the heavy weaponry, kkryonite-proof your transforming armours, and prepare for the great war.
And ask Zetra if she knows anything else about kkryonite, and if she is capable of doing the aforementioned, after relaying those thoughts

Holy stuff, I just realized that Axio is probably infected, or has been, considering she woke in Shy'ryx facility.
Aaaaaa

This is where that cardboard/metal box form comes in handy. Do some recon and see if there are any shipments going into and out of the region.

You could probably get information on what he previously looked like and rebuild his old body.

Deceb has shown to be reluctant to previous testing, but she might hold to her TAMS origins and allow the researchers to copy some of her systems for this upcoming battle.

The facility you awoke in was built prior to their Kkryonitte research, you assume. However, it may be possible that you are infected by the Kkryonitte. That might be a cause of concern for the upcoming battle.

You currently don't have any information on shipments going to the Shy'ryx base of operations, but it may be possible to get some data on it.

will have a fuller update tomorrow because i have to go to bed now

I say infiltrate. There's no use getting countless people slaughtered
Yet

ok so our plan is to send bot in to spy or whatever
he'll be sent in on a supply run, equipped with one of the suits and will be able to disguise himself as a box

shouldn't we have our party on standby though
if so, should we bring deceb with us?

send Stojanow or some (half) expendable TAMS in as well, for communication, mainly. Also, to control Bot from going batstuff silly.

well you can rebuild TAMS anyways, it just takes a long while

ok so are these our final plans?

Yeah
Who needs plans for when you get there.

Yeah
Who needs plans for when you get there.
that's why we're sending in stojan

Deceb joins the party. She seems more than capable of holding her own in a firefight, though whether this is a good thing is rather questionable. Besides, she probably knows more about the Shy'Ryx than you do, making her a rather valusble asset.

After a bit of discussing, you all come to an agreement.

"Alright, here's the plan," you say, standing up as a military planning hologram appears on all of the walls and in the center of the table. The lights dim to provide better visibility.

"We'll be constructing a body for TNMS1 based off of his previous memories. That way, we'll be able to send him back to the Shy'ryx facility. He'll be equipped with a suit similar to that used by Deceb. Don't worry, it's perfectly stable. This suit will be a capable of of disguise, namely boxes."

"And how do you expect to get him into the facility?" asks one of the humans, who has a look of uncertainty.

"I'm getting there. We'll be identifying to best supply shipment and send TNMS1 in using the box form. Since he's been there before, he should be able to find his way around. He'll be equipped with a transmitter and a camera so he can be sending data in real-time. We'll be keeping track of his progress from Head Command," you explain.

"And if something goes wrong?"

"We'll have a team on standby in case anything goes wrong. All TNMS1 will have to do is send an SOS and we'll have reinforcements in ten minutes tops."

The human frowns, leaning back. "Are you sure you'll be able to get assistance that soon?"

"Of course," you reply confidently. "You know very well how advanced our technology is here. Granted we aren't entirely sure how we'll handle a Kkryonitte attack, but I'm sure we'll figure out a way. Our researchers will be working around the clock to ensure this mission is successful." You take a breath. "After all, the fate of the universe depends on it."

One of the Chyrannian elders leans forward a bit, his yellow eyes unblinking. "We're very well aware of how advanced you TAMS are, but these stakes are incredibly high." He pauses for a moment before continuing. "Don't let pride in your Triloslynne technology get in the way of your judgement."

You give a nod to him before looking back at the group. Before you can continue, though, one of the humans speaks up. "And what will we here at the station be doing... besides just research, of course."

"I'm getting there. We'll be working on advancing our military technology further. If TNMS1's mission is successful, then we should have Kkryonitte-proof suits and armor in time for the primary attack."

"And that is?" One of the young humans leans forward; he looks rather excited for the events ahead.

"We'll send in a team to shut down the Kkryonitte facilities. With their energy and ammunition limited, we'll have the perfect opportunity to destroy the Shy'ryx's base of operations." You look over at Deceb, who has a strange grin on her face.

Hemias seems to have caught on. "What part will Deceb Zetra play in this?" she asks.

"Since she's the only one here who has survived over a year under the effects of Kkryonitte, we'll be using her for assistance in Kkryonitte-proofing our defenses. She'll be a part of the main attack force going into the Shy'ryx station; after all, she knows far more about this Kkryonitte virus than we do."

You're about to continue when Deceb steps in. "There's something I'd like to mention," she begins. "There's a risk with bringing Cryonnium weaponry to a Kkryonitte fight."

"And this is?" By now, all eyes have been turned on Deceb.

"When Kkryonitte and Cryonnium mix, they create a far worse substance. I haven't given it an official name, so I just refer to it as the S-Virus." She takes a breath, glancing down at the table. Is she nervous? "It's an aggressive vibrant purple gel."

"Aggressive?" Navaro sounds rather surprised.

Deceb hesitates, looking reluctant to continue. "The Triloslynne created it by accident when they were testing the effects of Kkryonitte on me. After all, I was primarily powered by Cryonnium."

You frown a bit, opening your mouth to speak, but Deceb continues. "They decided it may be useful for a future weapon, so there are blueprints for S-Virus weaponry saved into my memory. Thankfully, the Shy'ryx didn't manage to find the files, so they more than likely don't know of the substance."

"Well, this is certainly an interesting turn of events," Lia comments, but she isn't grinning.

In your head, you agree with her. You aren't sure what this S-Virus is capable of, nor have you even heard of it until now, but you aren't sure you want to risk using it in a fight where the universe could be at stake. However, you may be able to use it to your advantage in the upcoming fight.

Well?

also guys i notified my sister that the universe was in bot's hands
she looked horrified
