How do you join a multiplayer server in Gmod? This is a stupid question I know.

To connect by IP: Open the console by pressing ~ (If you haven't bound it to a key, do so) then type "Connect [IP]" without the quotations or brackets.

And then you can always use the server browser.

as soon as you spawn let the game idle for like 8 minutes and go underneath the building with the siren and look for the admin room, should be able to spawn tornadoes from there or you can just wait like 15 minutes for one to naturally happen
