it's not at floor 228, it's completely randomized. i encountered the surprise at 114.

Differences between game and page: There should be child crying and pleading almost constantly along the way. The breathing wasn't reported. It seemed that at set points, there was random damage to the stairs, but not in the game. The documentation of the location all had specific motivational purposes, while the game provides none. The page skips tons of flights in it's telling, whereas the game makes you walk each one, which is where people turn to hate it.

It is procedurally generated randomly. One might find incident near the top, of extremely far down. This was a great element of the game.

Although SCP-087-B is better on scares, I don't like it as a sequel to SCP-087. They basically filled in the gaps of SPC-087 with as much scary elements as they could, but the story... well... I don't see it there anymore. It's purposed to scare, the story isn't there anymore. You can like it for the scares, but I won't like it as a sequel.
