Author Topic: Running games without the CD  (Read 1124 times)

I have 3 games that need a CD, (most of my games are on steam) and if I had more, I would be willing to carry around a CD case, but I'm just a lazy prick. So I was wondering if it was possible to mount the CD files into a .iso file or something so you could run it without the CD. Is that possible?

I'm sure it's OK since you have to have the disk, if not, I'll remove the link.

I'm too lazy to download another program. Would Power ISO do the same thing?

no, stop being lazy

gamecopyworld.com
What is this?
Also, it sounds like Power ISO does the same thing as Daemon Tools, but I don't know which version of Nero to download. WHY ARE THERE SO MANY!?!?!?

Just install the game from the cd, go to gamecopyworld, get the .exe that lets you play the game without the disk, yes

GCW has a bunch of patches.

Is there a good .iso mounter like Daemon Tools, only free?

daemon tools lite

I'll try that now
Sorry, forgot to include this. This will make the .iso file for you to mount with clone drive.
