I imagine it will be like this: You say /highfive [playername] and the player that you typed in will receive a message saying if you would accept or decline the high-five. (This is to prevent exploits a little better.) If they decline, the high-five messenger will receive a message saying that the player has declined the high-five invite. If they accept, however, they will be teleported in front of the messenger, and play an animation involving the hand, which I imagine will be hard if not impossible. Who knows, though; I can't script for stuff.

Not possible with custom colored hands and if you want full body animations you can forget about it.

Aw, I was thinking this would be some kind of Toejam & Earl high-five which shares health.

This is possible.. say if you made the player press shift, but without crouching.

You can't edit default player animations. You could make a new player type but that would be a lot of unnecessary work.

Use all the TF2 high-five voices but make them high pitched, yes!

So, you weren't kidding about suggesting this. :3

This would be abusive as forget, in a deathmatch, someone could just teleport to the other team's base for example.

then its the hosts fault for having it. but yes, you have a point

But the guy who got the message can decline it :3. Making it declined means he won't be able to go there.

The teleporting part is stupid. Why not simply play the animation if the player is close enough to the person who accepted the high five? If they aren't facing each other that's their problem.

It could be declined though. :U

Oh yeah lets leave it up to the players to be looking at the exact right angle and be at the exact right distance. Great idea!

Distance limit anyone..? Please stop coming up with imaginary problems before it's made.
