And it's not even the special interest itself that disgusts me. There are special interestes that are far worse than loving anthropomorphised animals, there are things more sad and pathetic than attending a convention dressed as an animal to meet other sick forgets dressed as animals. The thing that makes me, and the rest of the internet, loathe furries, is the pretentiousness and self-victimization you flaunt around on the internet. You force you're sick loving special interest onto other people and then berate them when they don't accept or want to talk about it. You willingly wear the label like it's a badge of pride, you're asking for people to persecute you, and then you pretend that your critics are just bigots who can't accept your lifestyle.

A special interest or fascination for furries isn't genetic. It's not a race, it's not an ethnic group that you're born into, it's a label that encompasses every aspect of the furry fandom, from catgirls to loving raccoon's in the mouth, and you willingly brand yourself with it. Don't even try to compare your fandom's grief to that of actual persecuted minorities.
